About Curve Theory

A curve is a simple element that, when connected with other curves end-to-end, makes a large, flexible system. We like to think of ourselves as one element in that system. The others represent our many resources; illustrators, writers, other graphic and Web designers and SEO specialists. We are firm believers in collaboration and by working with other great thinkers, we are able to take on a variety of projects, including the very large, and still remain a small entity with little overhead.

Our relationships with other creatives are built on the foundation of common interests. Some of those interests are: solution-based thinking, a passion for perfection and loving what we do. These, coupled with valuable input from our clients, make for a winning combination.


About the Founder

Reggie Tidwell [LinkedIn Profile linkedin] received his BFA in Graphic Design in 1997 from Maryville University in St. Louis. He’s always had an entrepreneurial spirit and started to establish a client base even prior to graduation. His primary focus then was branding and print design. Reggie joined the multimedia team of a Fortune 500 company after being solo for a little over a year. He acted as resident graphic designer and, through extensive training, learned Web animation and interactivity. The exposure to animation would award him with an expert level foundation for Web development and interactivity to add to his skillset.

After spending a couple of years designing and animating Web interfaces, heading up the interactive team of an information graphics corporation, creating and teaching a multimedia class at Washington University and providing interactive training to the creative teams of companies, such as Boeing, Maritz Travel and Payless Shoe Source, Reggie founded Curve Theory in 2001…a full service graphic design business. He’s been fortunate enough to provide design services to small businesses and large corporations throughout North America.
